Hi, I'm Nicola, of 'Nicola Jane Independent Funeral Celebrant Services', based in Ramsbottom, Lancashire, and serving the surrounding areas.

After almost 24 years of clinical work in the NHS, with 20 of these years as a midwife, and 9 of them a specialist bereavement midwife, I am ready and wanting to give so much more. I yearn to give a continuum of care, not only through guidance of a journey of grief , but to support you before , during and following a death, throughout your grieving process.

My work is embedded in a long-held belief that every chapter of life, at any age, deserves to be honored with warmth, dignity and sincerity. I am dedicated to offering a professional and individual service of care, supporting you and your loved ones, through life's toughest moments.

I would be honoured to support you, with a passionate, understanding of death and dying, and the compassion needed within this often painful transition of life. I can help you find the words, and guide you through some of the most difficult decisions you may ever make. These deeply emotional and personal moments deserve nothing less than heartfelt care, and meaningful tributes to celebrate your loved ones life.

I have held the hands of many families through their grief journey, listened to them, shared tears and stories together. Together we have have smiled, cried and honoured those irreplaceable memories together. Being present in a world where you feel alone, is more important than anything, and I am here for you.

A funeral can be anything you want it too be, if you wish for light hearted, sensitive, or simply calming, I can help to meet those desires.

As a future reiki practitioner, I will be able to offer additional holistic therapies to promote healing during your grieving process, for as long as you need me following your loved ones service.
