Funeral Celebrant

Supporting and empowering your family through grief and loss

I am a fully trained funeral celebrant.

Thank you for visiting my website. I trained with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy, having spent the major part of my career in the property sales industry and care sectors. I am also a qualified Grief Support Volunteer, having trained with Curse Bereavement Care.

It would be my honour to help you plan the funeral or memorial you want for your loved one. There are many types of funeral services, all of which can be highly personalised, enabling you to say farewell in the way you would like.

I am here to support you through this process of organising a funeral ceremony. I can be as involved as you'd like me to be - I can organise all of it, or I can accompany you and simply be the officiant on the day.
I support and empower your family through loss and grief.

About Me

I worked for many years in the property sales industry and most recently moved into the care sector. Working in a care home gave me the opportunity to work with families making tough decisions about future care for their loved ones and our conversations often lead to their wishes at end of life and help them to choose a funeral director. My move to become a Funeral Celebrant was cemented when I planned my father-in-law's funeral last year and I admired the celebrant we worked with on the day. I want to hold the space for families in the way he did.

Why choose me

A funeral celebrant is many things - advisor, counsellor or storyteller. My role is to meet a family's needs and guide them gently during their time of loss, ensuring their wishes and ideas are properly reflected in the ceremony we create together.

I have explained different types of funeral services you could plan in "services offered". It is always your choice.
